[SAFETYNET India] Notice of tender offer for FETP INDIA LMS Platform maintenance and customization

India FETP training programs comprise all three tiers (advanced, intermediate, frontline) across three hubs: National Center for Disease Control (NCDC), WHO India Office in Delhi, and Indian Council for Medical Research- National Institute of Epidemiology (ICMR-NIE) in Chennai.

Since 2012, India FETP has trained more than 500 officers, and the on-training usually nearly 200 officers per year. Therefore, it's necessary to develop a platform to expand access to learning while maintaining quality.


In 2021, USCDC, with NIE-ICMR and SAFETYNET, developed a Learning Management System (LMS) for India FETPs, which is:

• an open edX platform (open source);

• hosted on Government of India approved server, and landing page at “http://www.indiafetp.com”;

• comprises of self-paced learning modules adapted from Global Health Development, The Eastern Mediterranean Public Health Network (GHD EMPHNET);

• supported by Microsoft (MS) Outlook for emails and MS Teams to host meetings and webinars.


In 2023-2024, India FETP plans to expand LMS to other training hubs and programs. We look forward to cooperate with new vendor for the LMS platform maintenance and customization during it application expansion. Kindly read the tender document attached for detailed information.
