Following the successful completion of the two AMTC cohort in previous year, a third cohort of 16 staff from provincial centers for disease control and prevention began their six months training in Hanoi this May. This cohort’s participants are from the following provinces: Bac Ninh, Ninh Binh, Bac Kan, Thua Thien Hue, Dak Lak, Binh Dinh, Dong Nai and Ca Mau.
The first workshop on Quality Improvement was held from 21-24 May 2019. Following this workshop, participants will implement process improvement projects in their respective provinces. They will be assisted by their assigned field advisors.
Dr. Do Mai Hoa, Mr. Nguyen Hoang, Ms. Pham Thi Thuy Linh, Dr. Phuong Duc Nhat and Ms. Nguyen Phuong Thuy serve as faculty and field advisors for the AMTC workshop. SAFETYNET provides technical support for the course. The course is supported by the General Department of Preventive Medicine of the Viet Nam Ministry of Health, SAFETYNET, and U.S. CDC.
